Re:  ISPI San Antonio -  February 2008 Meeting Notice and News

Who/What:      How About We Change It Up?

Before anything, please note that for the Chapter’s February meeting, we will be gathering at a different location.  (Please refer to the When/Where section for the details.) We will try out the location’s WiFi capabilities so that when future programs require it, we will have an alternate meeting place.  Because it is something I really enjoy, we’ll play Thiagi’s Performance Deck game to test our skills and knowledge of the HPT field.

Next, I want to take a moment to thank the rest of the Chapter’s outgoing officers and the loyal “board” for their support. They made it very easy for me and most of them have been Chapter President or some other officer over the years.  I’m grateful for their experience, guidance and willingness to help.   I’ve learned much, and I know that there is so much more to learn. I couldn’t be any happier to continue my association and membership with the San Antonio ISPI Chapter.   Thank you to:

Last year, we elected Rob Garza from UTSA as the 2008-2009 Chapter President.  There are many things that must be done to help him start off the new program year.

Thanks again for a wonderful two years as your chapter president, and best wishes to Rob and the rest of the board!!

Alma Ramirez!  She won the free registration to the upcoming ISPI conference in April.  I’m so excited for her and if it’s not too late, I might just join her!  Anyone else planning to attend?  We will see you in the Big Apple!

INCOMING 2008-2009 CHAPTER OFFICERS

Actually, except for President, we don’t know yet.  If you are interested in volunteering for our chapter as an officer, board member or committee member, please contact Rob Garza, 2008-2009 Chapter President, at robert.garza3@utsa or Dianne Ramirez, Past President (gosh, that sounds good), at diaramir@satx.rr.com.  There is plenty room for ideas for improving chapter performance, and we can spend some time discussing Chapter leadership roles, responsibilities, opportunities, and nominations at the February meeting.  Please plan to be there.  We’d love to see you!
