Exploring SuperPerformance

14 November 2005, Houston Texas

How Do They Do It?

You know them.
You've been amazed by them.
Companies that seem to inevitably succeed.
Companies that soar past everyone else in their industry, and still
Rate among the most attractive places to work.

Companies like...

Toyota Motors, who for the last several decades has topped the J.D. Power rankings for quality and performance in an industry known for labor troubles and losses.

Southwest Airlines, able to maintain record profits for 31 years when other air carriers look to bankruptcy as their only way out.

Sterling Bancshares, a homegrown Texas company that grew out of a trailer in Northwest Houston to become a "Supercommunity" banking system with 37 office locations, who for three years running has made Fortune's "Best Company to Work For" list.

Now is your chance to learn their secrets. On Monday, November 14, 2005, the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) is holding its First Annual Texas Performance Conference to share the secrets of these Superperforming organizations.

* Explore the research on Superperformance with Dave Guerra, author of Superperformance: New Profound Knowledge for Corporate Leaders.

* Hear the Sterling Bank story directly from co-founder, former CEO and Chairman, George Martinez, author of the soon to be published book, Let the People Shine.

* Examine the new management science emerging at the front of organizational Superperformance as Holly Lanham and Michelle Jordan of the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas, explore the role Complexity Science plays in unleashing corporate culture.

* Learn about Superperformance in health care as Jason Wolf, Organizational Effectiveness, HCA, shares the characteristics of high-performing healthcare organizations revealed for the first time in a new study.

* Investigate the practices that inhibit Superperformance from Gregg Stocker, Director of Quality, ICO Polymers, author of ASQ Quality Press's Avoiding the Corporate Death Spiral.

* Learn what hard and soft skills create Superperformance blackbelts and assure successful large-scale change from Debra Marinelli, Director of Organization Development at the University of Houston.

* Participate in a Cracker Barrel/Social Mixer as new techniques, methods, and practices are shared by Texas' best performance technologists.

* And much more...

This is a groundbreaking event you will not want to miss. And it's only $129 for ISPI, ASTD, ODN, SHRM, and ASQ members, and $149 for non-members.

Time is short, and seating is limited, so register now to secure your place. Register online now at <http://www.texasperformanceconference.org>
