February 27, 2003 Meeting

WHO/WHAT:  

Pam Bogen will be our presenter. She is the Campus Instructional Technologist and the Web Master at the Health Careers High School. She is one of the developers of the Northside ISD Web Mastering Online Course, which is the first and only online high school course accredited by the Texas Education Agency. She is the lead teacher and the Web Master of this pilot course. Her presentation will draw on her experience with this course and the online staff development courses she has developed for the Northside ISD

Great Wall Restaurant, 1/2 block north of Loop 410 in the shopping strip on the west side of Blanco.

HOW MUCH:

Dinner, tax, gratuity and this fine program is only $11.50 for Chapter Members, and $13.50 for non-members.

For Your Information

It is that time of year again for dues to be paid.

ISPI's 41st annual International Performance Improvement Conference and Exposition will be held in Boston April 12 - 15. You can reduce the registration fee by registering early. Also, when you resister for the full conference at the member rate, you may also register a colleague for only
$200 - provided your colleague has not attended an ISPI annual conference in the past three years.

 At last month's meeting, the slate of officers proposed for 2003
were accepted by the members in attendance. Here are the names

Regrettably, at the meeting, Betty Humphries announced that a scheduling conflict has arisen that will probably interfere with her duties as Secretary. She agreed to stay on in title and hang on to the Chapter Secretary materials for the short term. This presents an opportunity to serve.
