The International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) is the leading association dedicated to increasing productivity in the workplace through the application of performance and instructional technologies. Founded here in San Antonio, Texas, on 17 September 1962, ISPI has grown to its current size of 10,000 international and chapter members located throughout the United States, Canada, and 40 other countries. The San Antonio Chapter meetings are attended by 15-20 active local practitioners from small (consultants) to large organizations (military/commercial) covering a wide range of business, health care, academic, military, and contracting/service organizations. Topics range from the large-scale [training needs analyses, organizational change management, and occupational career field restructuring] to the individual training and performance improvement topics [course design, e-learning lessons learned, measurement and SCORM issues].
