If you’ve installed the new Internet Explorer (Ver 7.x), once, again, Bill Gates has decided to protect you from yourself.
If you are having a hard time seeing PDF
(Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format) Files the reason is DEFAULT HIGHER
SECURITY. One way around this is a web
site by web-site basis using “Trusted Sites”.

Note that this
“mouse-over” shows that the PDF link is BLOCKED,
although the HTM links work fine. This
example is from an Outlook Email which uses the Internet Explorer to handle the
links.

Here is how to effect the work-around.
Directly from Internet Explorer 7.xxx, load my Home Page http://www.icodap.org/
Click on TOOLS then drag to Internet Options & Click

From whatever Tab is showing, Click on SECURITY (this screen shows the General Tab)

On SECURITY Tab, Click on “Trusted Sites” then click on the SITES button.

Once in the Trust Sites Window, UNCHECK the box at the bottom which says “Require server verification…”

Next, click on the ADD Button…

When my site name appears in the bottom window, click on the CLOSE button.

Click on OK to exit this window.

Exit Internet Explorer. Future uses of Internet Explorer 7.xxx should work – even from within Outlook. Here’s your example..
With ICODAP.ORG now a Trusted Site, the PDF should work..

And, as predicted, the PDF file now is visible.
